Ultimate PS3HEN Installer Guide & Downloads

1. Install Hybrid Firmware (HFW 4.92)

  1. Download HFW 4.92: Download Here
  2. Extract and place PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP on a FAT32 USB drive.
  3. On PS3, go to System Update > Update via Storage Media.
  4. You May Want to install the Hybrid firmware Twice, This is to ensure it has installed successfully.

2. Install PS3HEN - Do This On The Actual Playstation!

  1. Open the PS3 browser and go to: ps3xploit.me/hen/installer
  2. Clear cookies/cache (Triangle > Tools) before loading.
  3. Run the exploit and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Once installed, reboot and go to "Enable HEN" from Game menu.

Q: Exploit keeps freezing or failing.

A: Clear cache and cookies before each try. Reboot PS3. Use a wired connection if possible.

Q: I'm on firmware 4.92. Can I install HEN?

A: Yes! You Absolutely Can!

Q: HEN disappears after reboot.

A: This is normal. You must re-enable it after each restart via the "Enable HEN" icon.
